The transition released three photos of the Obamas in what appears to be their suite at the Hay-Adams Hotel, where the family is staying before moving into Blair House and, eventually, the White House.

Malia and Sasha start school at Sidwell Friends, a private school based in the Washington area with campuses in the city itself and suburban Maryland.

Since moving into the Hay-Adams, which is located a block from the White House, this weekend, the press have struggled to get pictures of the Obamas, who have been shepherded by Secret Service past many media stakeouts.
