Rep. Allen West said Tuesday that if questions about his military service were fair game, so too should be those about President Obama's drug use in high school and college.
West was asked during a constituent town hall in Boca Raton, Fla., to release an Army report detailing his treatment of an Iraqi police officer detained while he was serving in Iraq, according to a report from the liberal blog ThinkProgress.
West initially defended his actions in responding to the question.

A Puerto Rico legislator called Rick Santorum's suggestion that the territory adopt English as its official language a "narrow and limiting view of what America is about."
The response, by Del. Pedro Pierluisi (D-Puerto Rico) comes a day after Santorum, during a visit to the territory, told a local newspaper that Puerto Rico had to adopt English as its official language if it wanted statehood.
"Well, first, it's incorrect to say that there's a federal law imposing English as the only official language in our states. The Constitution doesn't provide anything along those lines either," Pierluisi said Thursday on CNN.
