Thompson Touts Conservative Credentials in Latest Ad

In a new ad released today, former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) slams home his "common sense conservative principles" by telling viewers that in the Senate he "fought for tax cuts and conservative judges." Thompson also makes a point of telling voters that he is "proud to have a one-hundred percent pro-life voting record" and that "our rights come from God not from government and if we stick to our basic conservative principles we will win in November." The ad will run on local television in Iowa and nationally on Fox News.
