Groups Gamble on '08 Election

Dan Mica, President & CEO of Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and a former member of the House of Representatives (D-Fla.), says trade groups are gambling on a Democratic victory in 2008, rushing to hire Democratic lobbyists based on that prediction.
Mica says this is risky 11 months ahead of the elections, and that groups should seek to balance their efforts by hiring both Democrats and Republicans as lobbyists.
