The Democrats' first 100 hours are over.  It is time for the 110th Congress to put its nose to the grindstone and do the people's work.  President Bush just this week addressed both bodies of Congress and laid out his agenda for the coming year.  If we are to make real progress on such issues as achieving energy independence, curbing healthcare costs, and increasing border security, we must work together.

The impact Congressional presidential contenders will have on Congress' work cannot be ignored.  There is the potential for much posturing and little policy.  Will Members put aside their personal ambitions to focus on the needs at hand?  I will join Brian Wilson on Fox's Weekend Live tomorrow at 12:15 p.m. to discuss this issue and what can be expected in the next two years.  I hope you'll be watching.
