Clinton to Mail DVD to Iowa Voters

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) will mail a DVD to Iowa voters next week detailing her stance on the Iraq War. In it, Clinton discusses the war with voters in the dining room of an Iowa home, and Joe Wilson, former U.S. Diplomat and husband of outed CIA operative Valerie Wilson nee Plame, appears to promote the New York senator.

Romney's 7th Campaign Ad Addresses Children

Releasing his seventh presidential campaign ad, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) addresses youth culture in this video and examines the "ocean in which our children now swim."

"If we get serious about this, we can actually do a great deal to clean up the water in which our kids and our grandkids are swimming," Romney said.

John Edwards Launches 'Two Americas' Poverty Campaign

Speaking at a presidential forum at the NAACP Convention, former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) announced that on Monday he will begin traveling to impoverished areas of the country such as New Orleans, Mississippi and Arkansas to talk about his "Two Americas" campaign about poverty.

"Doing something about the two Americas is the cause of my life," Edwards said. "One of the things I’ll be doing beginning next week is trying to create a spotlight on the other America - the poverty that exists all around this country."

The Clintons Campaign Together in Iowa

This week, Bill and Hillary Clinton hit the trail in Iowa, appearing for the first time together for Hillary's presidential campaign. The campaign recently announced it would provide footage of the Iowa trip for HillCam, a project Clinton's team described as an "unvarnished look at the Clintons' first joint-campaigning of the 2008 race."

In this video, the Clintons visit a Dairy Queen with former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, who pulled out of the presidential race earlier this year and is now one of Clinton's campaign co-chairs.

Obama's Toothless Take on Faith

At a recent church conference, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) gave a speech designed to stir the hearts of all of us who yearn for more authentic religion in the public square.

He was earnest, compassionate -- and thoroughly misleading about the proper roles of religion and government. As the presidential campaign progresses, we will hear more such talk, and so what he had to say must be dissected carefully.

First of all, the speech was powerful in its call for moral influence on government. Had parts of it been delivered by my boss, Dr. James Dobson, Barry Lynn would have fired up his sound-bite machine and the media would have been apoplectic for days. But Sen. Obama is a political liberal, and so there was no controversy.

John Edwards Wants Another Minimum Wage Raise

Speaking in front of the National Education Association, former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) said he would raise the minimum wage if elected president.

"We’re going to raise the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour so that people can earn a decent wage," Edwards said. "No one, no one, should work full time in the United States of America and live in poverty."
