Report: Drone strike in Pakistan kills 5 militants

A drone strike killed at least five suspected militants in Pakistan on Saturday, according to reports.
The CIA attack targeted a house and a vehicle in the country's North Waziristan tribal region, close to the border with Afghanistan.
Pakistani officials told The Associated Press that the area is dominated by a militant commander, Hafiz Gul Bahadur, who is suspected of attacking U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
Recent drone strikes have targeted Bahadur's group, but it is unclear whether that was also the purpose of Saturday's strike.
U.S. intelligence officials told the AP on condition of anonymity that the strike involved seven missiles aimed at the village of Degan.
The news comes a week after another strike killed the son of the founder of the Haqqani network, a Taliban-allied Afghan militant group based in northwest Pakistan.
