News bites: Low-level radioactive water to be dumped in ocean, BP wants to drill in Gulf, and more

Tokyo Electric Power will dump thousands of tons of low-level radioactive water from the stricken Fukushima Daiichi reactor into the ocean.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will release a new pipeline safety plan Monday.

Rep. Pete Olson (R-Texas) will introduce a bill Monday requiring economic analyses of all Environmental Protection Agency regulation.

Here’s the latest on oil prices.

And, in case you missed it Sunday, BP wants to drill in the Gulf of Mexico again.
