News bites: US raises new fears about Japan nuke crisis, UN climate talks hit road bump, and more

The United States has identified a series of new threats at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, according to a document obtained by The New York Times.

Meanwhile, Tokyo Electric Power Co. said it would inject nitrogen into a reactor containment vessel at the plant to prevent an explosion.

Oil is at about $108 a barrel.

BP is weighing in on how the government should calculate the fines stemming from last year’s Gulf oil spill.

United Nations climate change talks in Bangkok stalled.

Fox News criticized comments by fashion designer Vivienne Westwood about climate change and said Google’s climate advocacy efforts are "one-sided."
