News bites: TEPCO to compensate those around nuke plant, climate change goes to Supreme Court, and more

Tokyo Electric Power promised to compensate those Japanese who were evacuated from their homes because of the nuclear crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant.

A major climate change case will come up before the Supreme Court next week.

Environmentalists sent thousands of comments in opposition to a natural-gas drilling project near the Delaware River.

Investment in renewable energy plummeted to the lowest level in two years.

Toyota will operate at half-capacity in Japan amid the fallout from the massive earthquake and tsunami that hobbled the country in March.
