News bites: Climate case comes before Supreme Court, spotlight on oil spill claims, and more

Tokyo Electric Power started pumping radioactive water out of the basement of the Unit 2 reactor at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant in Japan, The Associated Press says.

The National Journal previews Tuesday’s climate change case coming before the Supreme Court.

Scientific American takes a look at the role science played in bringing an end to the months-long BP oil spill.

The Los Angeles Times notes that there have been nine books written about the spill.

Kenneth Feinberg, the administrator of the Gulf Coast Claims Facility, responded to his critics Monday, again in the L.A. Times.

But The New York Times reports that many spill victims are still struggling with the claims process.

The Gulf seafood industry is starting to recover, the Times-Picayune of New Orleans says.
