News bites: NRC was warned about faulty vents

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission was warned about potentially faulty vents at a U.S. nuclear plant years before the same vents failed at the Fukushima Daiichi plant in Japan.

Gas prices are going down.

A new documentary about the BP oil spill has fallen flat at the Cannes Film Festival.
