Chevron faces criminal charges for a November oil spill in Brazil, Reuters reports.

The oil industry says China could win big in the coming years, Reuters reports.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Iran may seek sanctions against Europe.

Reuters reports on the latest development in the fight over who has to pay for Gulf oil spill costs: "Oil giant BP has lost its attempt to shift over $15 billion of costs related to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill onto contractor Transocean, increasing the possibility BP may have to foot the entire $42 billion cleanup bill."
