News bites: ConocoPhillips to pay millions for China oil spill

By Andrew Restuccia - 04/27/12 09:07 AM ET

ConocoPhillips and China National Offshore Oil will pay $360 million over a 2011 oil spill, Bloomberg reports.

The Associated Press reports on the Tennessee Valley Authority: “Former Tennessee Valley Authority chairman S. David Freeman says the federal utility should 'just stop' its nuclear reactor building program.”

A man who said he was wrongfully fired after raising questions about the cleanup of a Michigan oil spill settled with the company this week, the Battle Creek Enquirer said.

The New York Times reports on the Clean Energy Ministerial in London.
