News bites: Activists take aim at Discovery Channel's 'Frozen Planet'

Activists took aim at the Discovery Channel’s “Frozen Planet” Tuesday for what they say is a lack of focus on climate change, The Washington Post reports.

News outlets have misinterpreted a report on Texas wind farms causing higher surface temperatures, USA Today says.

A consultant says Iran’s oil production is at a 20-year low, according to Dow Jones.

T. Boone Pickens says natural-gas prices might have reached their lowest point, according to CNN Money.
