Bloomberg reports on the effects of European oil sanctions against Iran.

“The European Union’s ban on Iranian oil shipments that takes full effect July 1 is curbing ship charters now because of the time it takes the vessels to deploy, load and deliver cargoes, the fleet’s biggest re-insurer said,” their story states.

The Associated Press has the latest on embattled natural-gas giant Chesapeake Energy.

Reuters reports that a major solar power project is on the way in Israel.

Bloomberg looks at planned natural-gas exploration off Israel’s Mediterranean coast.
