By Ben Geman - 06/05/12 07:48 AM ET

The Houston Chronicle examines the shake-up on the board of troubled natural-gas giant Chesapeake Energy.

The New York Times reports from Ohio that oil-and-gas leasing is “jolting the economies of small towns and swelling the bank accounts of some working-class families.”

Reuters looks at a new study showing that damage from climate change could cost Latin American and Caribbean nations $100 billion per year by 2050.

The Associated Press reports that oil prices are hovering near eight-month lows in trading early Tuesday.
