ClearView nabs well-known analyst Tezak for senior role
The research and consulting firm ClearView Energy Partners LLC is adding muscle with the addition of Christine Tezak as a managing director.
Tezak, a well-known analyst of the Washington energy landscape, will lead the firm’s coverage of electricity markets, interstate pipelines, energy infrastructure and U.S. environmental policy, ClearView said.
“The firm looks forward to adding the complementary perspective of her extensive knowledge of regulated energy markets and the federal legislative, regulatory and judicial processes to its research offerings,” the company said in announcing Tezak’s hiring Tuesday.
Tezak, who has degrees in finance and Russian, was previously a senior analyst and director at Robert W. Baird & Co., where she covered electricity and natural-gas markets and environmental policy.
She has also held positions with the Washington Research Group and HSBC Securities.
ClearView, whose founders included a pair of former George W. Bush administration officials, aims to provide energy-sector investors with “forward-looking, transparent, data-backed assessments of emerging macro trends and the catalysts that can disrupt those trends.”
The company was founded in 2009.
