News bites: EPA brownfield cleanup grants favor wealthy communities

Poor communities, compared with their wealthier neighbors, have struggled to secure Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grants and loans for cleaning up toxic brownfields, according to a report by six nonprofit news organizations.
