News bites: Shell sues enviro group for Arctic protests

Royal Dutch Shell is suing Greenpeace to get the environmental group to stop protesting the oil firm’s Arctic drilling operations, reports The Associated Press.

Brazil, India, South Africa and China are trying to hammer out a common position on climate change, notes The Associated Press.

The Philadelphia Inquirer says speakers at a natural-gas conference in Philadelphia said more must be done to convince people that hydraulic fracturing — which injects a high-pressure mixture of water, chemicals and sand into tight rock formations — is safe.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission might suspend JPMorgan from electricity markets for allegedly misleading regulators, according to Bloomberg.
