News bites: ExxonMobil chief talks climate, fracking, Keystone

ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson discussed a wide range of topics — Keystone XL, climate change, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's death — in an hour-long interview with Charlie Rose on PBS that aired Thursday. Bloomberg Businessweek has some excerpts here.

A team of researchers studying temperatures since the last ice age ended 11,000 years ago says the current rates of global warming are unprecedented, NPR reports.
