Climate change skeptic takes message to Copenhagen

By Jim Snyder - 12/07/09 04:53 PM ET

Talk about party crashers.

Leighton Steward, a geologist, environmentalist and author, doesn’t believe climate change is the fault of human activity, and he’s taking his message to the ongoing United Nations summit on climate change in Copenhagen.

Steward made the rounds in D.C. a few weeks back to promote his new group, Plants Need CO2. Now he is in Copenhagen to challenge the orthodoxy that greenhouse gases are warming the planet. He has a new site, SpeakoutforAmerica.com, where you can follow the debate as it unfolds. Steward, who is also the author the New York Times bestseller Sugar Busters, doesn't discuss who has contributed to either effort.
