E2 Round-up: Gore defends EPA, Chamber considers climate lawsuit, and Pickens pulls back on wind
Former Vice President Al Gore joined Democrats on the Environment and Public Works Committee to urge the Senate to oppose the effort to keep EPA from regulating greenhouse gas emissions, in Bloomberg.
Yesterday, Ben also wrote up a piece about the letter from Gore and EPW Dems here.
U.S. News & World Report has a piece about the U.S. Chamber of Commerce considering taking EPA to court to block it from regulating carbon dioxide.
More Ben: here's his blog on the group’s outspoken president Tom Donohue gloating a bit over the troubles the climate legislation seems to be facing in the Senate.
T. Boone Pickens, who later today is giving a news conference to support legislation to promote natural gas, is apparently a bit less enthusiastic about wind. Dallas Morning News has a story about Pickens deciding to halve his purchase of turbines from General Electric.
I’ve always wanted to visit Hong Kong, but this short Q&A on the New York Times’ Green, Inc. blog has me reconsidering.
