Bank of America Merrill Lynch beefs up oil-and-gas team

BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research today announced the addition of two new analysts to its energy team.

Houston-based Douglas Becker will cover the oil services sector. He was most recently an oil services and equipment analyst for SMH Capital, but had previously been with Bank of America for over a decade covering the same topics.

Yang, based in New York, will cover mid-cap exploration and production companies. He comes to BofA after nine years covering the sector for Citigroup.
