Thursday convention schedule still up in the air
As of 3 p.m., Democrats in Charlotte, N.C., had still not put out a formal schedule of speakers for the last night of their convention, adding a bit of mystery to an event that will end with a speech from President Obama.
Democrats put out schedules for Tuesday and Wednesday the night before. When asked Thursday afternoon when a final schedule might come out, staff at the convention said they had "no idea."
Still, it's known that several speakers are on tap for the Thursday night session, including former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm; Rep. Tammy Baldwin (Wis.), who is running for the Senate; Sen. John Kerry (Mass.); Rep. Xavier Becerra (Calif.) and retiring Rep. Barney Frank (Mass.), in addition to Vice President Biden at roughly 9:30 p.m., and Obama at roughly 10:30 p.m.
The last night of the convention is expected to gavel in at 4:30 p.m.
