Let the budget hearings begin

Several House committees will hold hearings next week on the Obama administration's 2015 budget request, including a Ways and Means Committee one on Thursday with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew.

Obama's proposed budget for 2015 is expected on March 4, about a month past the statutory deadline. His plan is expected to include a proposal to spend another $56 billion above the new budget caps on an infrastructure and jobs initiative.
