Flake from Arizona to deliver weekly GOP address

According to a statement from the office of Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) will deliver the weekly Republican address on Saturday, on the one-week anniversary of the Tucson shooting.

According to the statement, Flake will pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the shooting and the heroes who helped saved lives.

“I’m proud on behalf of House Republicans to deliver this address honoring the victims of the shooting in Tucson, Arizona and thanking the heroes who acted selflessly in the face of violence,” said Flake in the statement.  

GOP House leadership has yet to release the legislative schedule for next week.
