House to resume regulatory debate at 9 a.m.

The House will return early today to conclude four hours of debate on a resolution instructing House committees to inventory regulations that are impeding economic growth and job creation. Debate today will be lead by leaders from the committees on the Judiciary, Education and the Workforce, Agriculture, and Oversight and Government Reform.

The last 30 minutes of debate will be led by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

Following debate, the House is expected to vote on the resolution, H.Res. 72, in the early afternoon, before 2:30 p.m.

The Senate is out until 2 p.m. Monday.
