House waiting for budget bill before adjourning Friday night

The House faced a delay of several hours before it could adjourn Friday night, as it was waiting for a budget bill to be presented that will be considered next week. Once the bill is introduced by the House Appropriations Committee, the House is expected to adjourn for the weekend.

The budget bill is expected to cut $100 billion from the current continuing resolution for the remainder of fiscal year 2011.
