House returns at 9 a.m. for Patriot Act, spending

By Pete Kasperowicz - 02/17/11 09:51 AM ET

The House reconvenes at 9 a.m. Thursday and could move to approve three Patriot Act surveillance extensions shortly thereafter. House Republicans said votes could occur as early as 9:45 a.m.

Members will also continue consideration of the fiscal 2011 spending bill, including an amendment that would cut another $20 billion from the bill, H.R. 1.

Republicans say it is unclear when the last votes will be today: "Last votes expected ???"
