Featured House hearings: SEC, Afghanistan and Pakistan

Several House committees are planning full committee hearings next week, including the House Financial Services Committee, which will examine ways to improve the Securities and Exchange Commission.

House Foreign Affairs plans two hearings, one on the transition in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and another on "Why Taiwan Matters."
