Senate unanimously confirms judicial nominee

The Senate on Tuesday afternoon confirmed Evan Wallach to serve as a U.S. Circuit Judge for the Federal Circuit by a vote of 99-0. 

Wallach previously served on the U.S. Court of International Trade and was nominated by President Obama to serve on the Federal Circut on July 28. His nomination was unanimously reported out of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Oct. 6. No senators spoke in favor or opposition of the confirmation in the time reserved for debate leading up to the vote.
