House approves journal, delays votes to name post offices

By Pete Kasperowicz - 02/14/12 08:16 PM ET

The House finished its legislative work Tuesday night with a simple vote on approving the journal of the prior day's legislative work, but skipped three votes to name post offices.

Members briefly debated the three post office bills today, and they are likely to pass later in the week. The three bills are H.R. 2079, H.R. 3247, and H.R. 3248.

In today's only vote, the House voted 303-89 to approve the journal of the prior legislative session. The Floor Action Blog will have a detailed analysis of that key vote later tonight, including a party breakdown.

Following the vote, members moved to special order speeches.
