House passes two port security bills

The House quickly approved two port security bills under a suspension of House rules.

The bills were debated Monday along with other non-controversial bills. They are:

H.R. 4251, the Securing Maritime Activities through Risk-based Targeting for Port Security Act. Approved 402-21.

H.R. 4005, the Gauging American Port Security Act. Approved 411-9.
