Easy Monday: Judges, spending bill in the Senate

By Pete Kasperowicz - 03/11/13 08:51 AM ET

The Senate meets at 2 p.m., and at 5 p.m. it will start debate on two district court judges.

Votes on the two judges — Gary Taranto for the Federal Circuit and Andrew Gordon for the District Nevada — are expected at 5:30 p.m.

The Senate will work on the continuing resolution for the rest of 2013 this week, and may start debate on that bill Monday. The House approved its version last week, H.R. 933, and the Senate will try to advance an amended version.

Other than a pro forma session at 10 a.m., the House is out, and returns to work on Tuesday.
