House approves two easy resolutions, done for the day

The House approved two non-controversial resolutions on Monday evening, which were their only substantial votes Monday.
In a 388-0 vote, members approved H.Con.Res. 18, making the Capitol grounds available for the National Peace Officers' Memorial Service.
And in a 386-0 vote, the House passed H.Con.Res. 19, making the Capitol grounds available for the Greater Washington Soap Box Derby.
After these votes, the House moved to special order speeches, and was set to return Tuesday to start work on the House GOP's 2014 budget resolution.
