House Republicans on Saturday afternoon released the text of two amendments they hope to attach to the short-term spending resolution before approving it and sending it back to the Senate.

One would delay ObamaCare for a year, the other would repeal the medical device tax. Both amendments change the resolution to provide funding through December 15, not the November 15 date in the Senate bill.

Both amendments contain a new Section 131 at the bottom of the spending bill — presumably, if the House passes both amendments, one would be given a different section number in the final bill.

The House Rules Committee was expected to meet around 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening to approve a rule allowing for floor consideration of the two amendments. That could allow the House to hold a final vote on the package sometime Saturday evening.
