The Senate meets for a second day of debate on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), S. 815.

On Monday, the Senate voted 61-30 to end debate on a motion to proceed to the bill. A vote on the actual motion to proceed could happen late Tuesday night, if the full 30 hours of post-cloture time is used.

The Senate could also agree to move more quickly. It senators agree, they could pass the motion to proceed to the bill by unanimous consent, a move that could be announced at any time today.

Regardless of the exact timing on the vote to proceed, senators will continue to debate the bill in the morning. They'll break for their usual Tuesday lunch, and continue debate on the bill into the afternoon.
