“That's what's got us in trouble," said Coburn. "We're more interested in power and position and party. I'm sick of both parties.”

Coburn, a fiscal conservative, often comes to the Senate floor to deliver warnings about what will happen if the country does not curtail its out-of-control spending habits. 

“We better start focusing on the real problems in front of our country,” said Coburn.  “We're going to have a $1.6 trillion deficit this year.”
