Coburn says he is ‘sick of both parties’

“That's what's got us in trouble," said Coburn. "We're more interested in power and position and party. I'm sick of both parties.”

Coburn, a fiscal conservative, often comes to the Senate floor to deliver warnings about what will happen if the country does not curtail its out-of-control spending habits.

“We better start focusing on the real problems in front of our country,” said Coburn.  “We're going to have a $1.6 trillion deficit this year.”
