McCain calls Obama’s presidential bus the ugliest he has ever seen

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) mocked President Obama’s new presidential touring bus from the Senate floor on Monday, saying it was the ugliest he had ever seen. 

“I must say again that I have never seen an uglier bus than the Canadian one,” said McCain as part of a scathing speech in which he the president’s taxpayer-funded trip through states critical to his reelection campaign.

McCain noted that Obama is riding around in a Canadian-manufactured bus while touting his plan designed to create American jobs.

“He is traveling around on a Canadian bus talking about creating jobs,” remarked McCain, wryly.

The White House has defended use of the jet-black Secret Service-provided bus dubbed “the behemoth” as a practical way to reach communities that are not served by airports large enough to accommodate Air Force One.
