The minibus bill containing a continuing resolution spending measure to fund the government through the rest of November and December is expected to be reported from conference to the Senate on Thursday, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) announced Wednesday night.

Whitehouse hinted there could be votes on that legislation sometime Thursday, but he did not lay out a schedule.

The Senate will convene at 10 a.m. Thursday and proceed to a period of morning business for one hour before moving to the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2012 (S. 1867).
