Senate to vote on Obama judicial nominee Thursday

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) scheduled a confirmation vote for 2 p.m. Thursday for Obama nominee Cathy Ann Bencivengo to serve as a U.S. district judge for the Southern District of California.

Bencivengo would replace Jeffrey T. Miller, who retired. Shortly after that, the Senate will cast a roll call vote on cloture on the highway transportation bill.
