Easy Monday: Judicial nominee in the Senate

By Pete Kasperowicz - 02/13/12 09:48 AM ET

The Senate meets at 2 p.m., and at 4:30 p.m. senators will take up the nomination of Adalberto Jordan to be a U.S. circuit judge for the Eleventh Circuit. A vote on this nomination is expected at 5:30 p.m.

The Senate is expected to take up its transportation bill, S. 1813, later in the week, while the House takes up its own transportation bill, H.R. 7. But the House won't meet for any legislative work until Tuesday; today, the House meets only for a pro forma session at 1 p.m.
