Senate passes resolution honoring victims of Boston Marathon bombings

S. Res. 115, which passed by unanimous consent, commends the heroism of each victim.

Also Thursday, the morning prayer was lead by a reverend from Old South Church, which is located feet from where the explosions occurred.

“This dedication to faith and community is why Boston has not grown weary,” said Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) after the prayer.

At 10:30 a.m. senators are scheduled to receive an FBI briefing on the Boston Marathon bombings.

Last week, the Senate passed a resolution condemning the bombings.
