The Senate passed the bill through a unanimous consent agreement before adjourning for the evening. The House passed the measure last month on a vote of 398-2, meaning the bill now heads to President Obama’s desk.

The Senate also passed two House bills dealing with energy facilities in Utah by unanimous consent.

H.R.251 directs the Secretary of the Interior to convey certain federal features of the electric distribution system to the South Utah Valley Electric Service District. H.R. 254, the Bonneville Unit Clean Hydropower Facilitation Act also passed.
