“If it wasn’t clear earlier this week why Republicans were asking to delay ObamaCare, it should be clear this morning,” McConnell said on the Senate floor. “The roll out of this law made a trip to the DMV look like a day in the park.”

The website was overwhelmed and experienced several “glitches.”

The government has been shut down since midnight Tuesday because lawmakers can’t agree on a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government. House Republicans have tried to attach riders to defund and delay ObamaCare, but Senate Democrats have said they would only accept a “clean” CR.
