House approves bills on Gettysburg, Peace Corps

The House approved an easy slate of suspension bills Monday, setting the stage for passage of a short-term continuing resolution on Tuesday.

Members debated three bills late Monday afternoon, and approved all three:

— H.R. 1513, expanding the boundaries of Gettysburg National Military Park to include the Lincoln Train Station. Passed 396-0.

— S. 230, allowing the Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation to establish a monument in Washington, D.C. Passed 387-7.

— H.R. 841, making technical corrections to the Grand Ronde Reservation Act. This bill was approved in a voice vote.
