The Senate passed a bill Wednesday that would ease requirements for a veterinarian to dispense controlled substances.
The bill funds the Internal Revenue Service, Wall Street enforcement and other programs.
The proposal would keep regulators from modifying state laws on Internet access.
The measure would prohibit funding to enforce D.C.'s handgun ban and other laws.
“Think of all those Jews that went to the ovens because we forgot our principles,” he said.
Rep. Paul Gosar said the awards are "ludicrous" and "a slap in the face."
