

GOP announces intel panel picks
Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) unveiled on Friday the list of 12 Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee for the new Congress.
Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) retains the chairmanship, while Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) is the only new member of the panel. He replaces former Rep. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.), who retired.
"Mike will be an outstanding addition to the House Intelligence Committee," Rogers said in a statement. "He is a graduate of West Point and Harvard Law School, and is a solid leader who serves Kansas well."
The panel will hold its organizational meeting and adopt its rules on Wednesday.
The members are:
