Obama, Sebelius to mark three-month anniversary of healthcare reform

By Julian Pecquet - 06/21/10 02:11 PM ET

President Barack Obama and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius are scheduled Tuesday to mark the three-month anniversary of the administration's healthcare reform law. Obama signed the landmark legislation into law March 23, a Tuesday.

Obama is scheduled to meet with state insurance commissioners and with eight to 10 CEOs of for-profit and nonprofit health plans in the morning. He is also set to give a speech about new healthcare insurance rules that will go into effect before insurance exchanges become operational in 2014.

Sebelius, for her part, will answer Americans' questions during a live Web chat. The event will stream live on the Internet at 3:15 p.m. at WhiteHouse.com/live; questions for Sebelius can be submitted through About.com.
